Although I love looking at all the pretty planners that have been decorated with Washi tape and stickers, I choose to be more of a practical planner user simply because I know that I would be overtaken with that style! When I used to scrapbook before my boys were born, I kept a very tight reign on myself so I wouldn't go crazy buying all the accessories associated with the craft. I loved it, I just knew I had to keep myself from going overboard. That is the reason I barely decorate my own planner pages.
When I stumbled upon this blog, Giftie Etcetera, it made my heart glad! I very much like her practical, get it done style of planning. In the past I had been a selective-perfectionist (I made that term up, can you tell?!) when it came to planning. I wanted my pages, that I created, to be perfect. I wanted to write in my planner AND not make any mistakes. I wanted wanted things neat and perfectly lined up. After reading a few of Giftie's (aka Kristy) posts, I felt inspired to let go of some of my restrictions and focus on my purpose for having a planner - to use as a tool to stay on top of things that I needed to do.
My planner sections are set up the same as Kristy's except for two additional sections - I will be talking about these in-depth this month.
