{31 Days #7} Breaking it Down: Project Pages (Giveaway Deadline Tonight!)

Before I jump in, let me mention again what a big fan I am of Giftie Etcetera (she's linked in the sidebar).  I handle my project pages almost exactly as she does. (Plagiarism is the best form of flattery, right?  Isn't that how that goes?).

So, I am going to link you to a few posts right up front.  Please read them for more detailed information about project pages.

As I mentioned on Day 3, I used to have a boat load of dividers.  I wasn't a month in to using my planner and I had already decided that I needed a new one and after reading Giftie, I streamlined everything and immediately gained more space.

My project section contains things that I am working on now.  The first sheet in my section is the Index and I list all my projects.  The Turkey Trot is a walking program with our homeschool group.  I record the boys miles and we will turn the sheet in before the deadline.  I host Thanksgiving for my family every year so I am just starting to plan what we are going to do so I have a project sheet for that.

The projects are written down as they are added and not in alphabetical order; thus you have the Index Page.  I think it is a great idea.  Letters of the alphabet are printed down the right side of the page (I started out just writing the alphabet down the side but you know I love making printables!) and the projects are filed in alphabetical order.  I put a paperclip on the right side of the project page to correspond with the index page to make the pages easy to find

Ever so often the index page will get filled up and I will start a new one, eliminating completed projects and transferring projects that are on-going.  Once a project is completed but I want to save the project page, it is transferred to the "Files" section (more on that later in the week).

Don't Forget!! The deadline for the giveaway (the first of two for this 31 Days project) is midnight tonight!! In order to participate, go to this page and leave a comment. Please leave your email address or make sure there is a way to contact you in your profile. The winner will be announced tomorrow.
