[31 Days #11] Feeling Overwhelmed? Try a Daily Plan

During the school year we have Friday School 3 times a month and those days are quite busy for us. Since I normally only use a weekly spread (on 2 pages), I can end up putting a lot of information on Thursday and Friday - and last week was no exception.

Above you can see how my Thursday was looking.  I started jotting down all the things I wanted to remember to do and buy and ended up with information everywhere.  Even with it written down, it felt like I was going to forget something.

When that happens, it is time to pull out a daily sheet.  I printed two daily pages and started sorting the information into groups:  to do, to buy, appointments, etc.  See the image below to see how it turned out.

Although Friday is the busy day, Thursday is just as busy in terms of preparation.  My daily page for Friday looks like there is nothing going on - but that's because I don't refer to my planner after we leave home for Friday School.  It's an automatic schedule and something I don't need to remember.

  1. I really love that DIY Fish daily page. The grid makes me all giddy.
